Surrounded by a very large and well maintained garden, with an unusually big pool, it is an ideal spot for a small family who want complete peace and privacy.

It is also a good base to explore Tuscany, being conveniently located only 10km from a highway connecting Pisa and Florence. Conor S from Armagh in Ireland had this to say, “If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday then this villa is the answer. An absolutely beautiful house with everything you could need. Its a couple of kilometres outside the sleepy village of Montopoli, in a very rural and quiet setting. However, the location also allows you to get on the main roads to anywhere quite quickly. The house itself is finished to a very high standard, and the pool area and grounds are fantastic. You will not feel let down as this place definitely lives up to both the internet pictures and the descriptions/reviews etc. The owners are also very pleasant, friendly and easy going people and we enjoyed meeting and chatting to them. Overall, highly recommended.”

Originally an old hayloft that was recently been converted into a delightful cottage, this charming property is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15km south-east of Lucca. Surrounded by olive groves and pine trees, it boasts fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance. Both the house and the pretty garden are exceptionally well-maintained by the owners, and the interiors are equipped with all modern facilities. The swimming pool, situated to one side of the house, is in a perfect position to enjoy the beautiful views. Michael M of Salt Lake City in the US describes it thusly, “What a view...The villa was immaculate and we would recommend it to anyone wanting an out of the way spot to vacation. We used this villa to stage many day trips. Paula our hostess was only seen on the first and last day but came and cleaned several times. We were very satisfied.”
