As this is the case we decided to compile a list of some of our most reviewed properties and here are the last of our picks among those well-loved rentals.

9. Villa Fontine

Villa Fontine is a beautiful stone farmhouse situated in quiet and panoramic location in the countryside surrounding Lucca.

It has been recently restored, preserving its original architectural features and has comfortable and tastefully furnished interiors, as well as a large private garden and a private swimming pool. Frans V from Gemert in the Netherlands had this to say about staying here: “When we arrived at the villa we were surprised by the enormous space in - and outside - the villa. It even looks a lot better than on the pictures on the website. The rooms were very clean and the enormous garden, including a large swimming pool, are maintained excellent. We liked especially the privacy, the swimming pool and the large terrace. We also made frequent use of the mountain bikes and the ping-pong table... The owner Angela and her daughter Silvia were very kind and helpful. Overall we have had a wonderful time.”

10. Borgo Toscano

Borgo Toscano is a small hamlet that is composed of 2 cottages and one main villa, very close to each to other, encircled by 55000sqm of land and woods, located in the hills around Pistoia.

Charming, well maintained and restored and boasting lots of facilities, these typical Tuscan rentals make for excellent rentals individually and, all together, are a perfect destination wedding location or family gathering spot. Kari P from North Oaks in the US described her experience of the property thusly: “We were 3 families (with teenagers) staying at the villa. We loved every part of our visit. The Villa was VERY clean and well maintained. Loli was terrific to work with - she arranged tours and transportation - Loli also arranged a cooking class for us in the Villa - which was delicious and so much fun. Highly recommend working with her to help you through Tuscany. We also enjoyed the use of the bikes and biked daily into the local village. Although the pictures are true to the property - the Villa is so much nicer that what the pictures represent!”
