Some More Of The Most Photogenic Spots In Tuscany

Torre Mozza
Tuscany is a beauty and there is lots to see and do, all across the region. In fact, it is one of the most picturesque and pretty places in the world. There is an endless list of places you could visit, things you could see and things you could do. However, some are more picture-perfect than others and, to help you narrow down the list and make it possible to fit into one trip, here are more of this author's picks of the most photogenic sights in Tuscany that you'll want to visit and then capture in a photograph forever.

9. The most photogenic beach in Tuscany?

Follonica is a coastal city that is often seen as the “Miami” of Tuscany, with a modern, busy city centre and long stretches of beautiful beaches. Torre Mozza is one of these beaches, located just 3km from the center of Follonica and is named for an ancient tower built right on the cusp of the shore.
Castello di Brolio
Known as one of the best Tuscan beaches in the Gulf of Follonica, it is incredibly pretty with the 16th Torre Mozza, an old Roman road that is now partially submerged and visible about 10m out from the shoreline, colourful umbrellas, white sand and bright blue water. Just find a villa with pool in Follonica and discover this wonderful stretch of coast.

10. A fairytale castle

Castello di Brolio is a famous and beautiful Tuscan castle in the southern Chianti countryside, located on top of an isolated hill a few kilometers from Gaiole. It is famous for its stunning architecture, grounds and views but is also supposedly home to several ghosts and is where one of the most famous wines in the region was born. Around for centuries, it got its distinctive Gothic Revival makeover in the 1800s and, as a result, looks like something plucked from a storybook.

Additionally, it has pretty Renaissance garden, making the whole place ideal for professional photoshoots and casual family days out alike. If you've always had a fondness for fairytales, this is where to get your group shot the next time you have found a villa with a pool in Chianti.

There are, of course, many more photogenic sights around Tuscany that you should visit so be sure to read the previous posts in this series.
