Lucignano, one of the most characteristic village in the Valdichiana, with shops and services of all kinds, is easily reached on foot. The walk to the imposing elliptical walls of the small town is one of the things that our customers always tell us with enthusiasm. The olive trees, the small road on the hill that goes up and once in the village the characteristic cafés among the paved alleys, where you can always taste an ice cream or a glass of good Tuscan wine.
Casa Felice is the ideal place for families and groups of friends. In the large garden shaded by a huge centuries-old oak and olive trees there are the swimming pool (size 9x4 m. - depth 1,50 m. - open from 01st May to 30th September) the barbecue, tables, chairs and umbrellas. A few steps from the house and immersed among the olive trees is the completely fenced swimming pool for your exclusive use (size 5x10 m - depth 1.10-1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), a green oasis for your summer days. In front of the house you will have a large fenced-in courtyard equipped with a table and chairs on the nice porch, where you can enjoy grills and good local wine. This property is situated on the hills surrounding Volterra and enjoys amazing views of the Tuscan landscape. All of the 6 units have been recently restored and are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. The well-groomed outside areas provide gazebos, nice paths, fruit trees and a large pool with open-air shower and sun-beds. The property owners, who are very friendly people, live only a short distance away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: Volterra con general stores 10 km away, the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Pisa (airport) approx. 60 km away, Florence approx. 70 km away.
The beaches of Cecina are in a 1-hour drive.
