The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.

The grounds of Villa Le Chiarne are a world unto themselves, extending across a flat, fully fenced park of approximately one hectare, predominantly laid to lawn and enriched by olive trees, fragrant creepers, and luxuriant bushes of Mediterranean herbs. A paved courtyard positioned in front of the suite entrances serves as the central outdoor dining area, creating a natural gathering point for guests. Scattered throughout the garden, you will find numerous gazebos and dedicated relaxation areas, a ping pong table, and 2 barbecue areas, all designed to encourage outdoor living at its finest. Please note that the photographs of the garden were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and grass colours may differ from what you observe upon arrival. The crown jewel of the outdoor space is the pool area, reached from the house via a short, level path of approximately 15 metres. The expansive sunbathing terrace, paved in travertine, is generously equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, and tables, and at its centre lies a striking free-form swimming pool spanning 110 square metres, with a varying depth of 70 to 150 cm. The pool is lined in PVC, features Roman steps, and is maintained with chlorine purification. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Completing this exceptional area are 2 hydromassage pools: one with a rounded shape that is heated, and one with a square shape measuring 4 x 4 metres, which can be heated on request. Both offer a breathtaking vantage point from which to admire the sweeping landscapes of the Crete Senesi that surround the property.

Villa Le Chiarne is configured across 2 floors and is capable of accommodating up to 22 guests across its 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, distributed among 7 independent suites each with a private entrance. Five suites are located on the ground floor and 2 on the top floor, accessible via a flight of stairs on one side of the house. Suite 1 comprises the main kitchen and a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower. The rental price includes utilities such as electricity, water, and gas for cooking use, as well as weekly linen changes and both initial and final cleaning. The price also includes the Zer0Dep Guarantee, which means you do not pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival, and you benefit from EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during your stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 euros and subject to the limitations provided.
