Parking is available nearby, making it easy to head off of day-trips to other cities and parts of the region and the train station is just 3km away if you would prefer to enjoy a more scenic and romantic mode of transportation for at least some of your vacation. The train connects you easily to the likes of Florence (you’ll be there in just over an hour by train from Cortona), Pisa (you can be there in two and a half hours if you get the right option), and Arezzo (it takes only around twenty minutes by train).
The apartment itself is simple but full of charm. Expect spacious rooms with exposed-beam ceilings, tiled floors, a combination of antiques and new furnishings, interesting works of art, and lots of delightful little touches.
