The outdoor spaces at Podere Santa Croce are a true celebration of the Tuscan landscape, offering a harmonious blend of cultivated beauty and natural wilderness. The grounds surrounding both the farmhouse and the annex are partly natural, with oaks and poplars providing pleasant shaded areas, and partly cultivated with oleanders, helichrysum, rosemary, and laurel. Paved terraces, particularly the generous one situated between the main house and the annex, are perfectly suited for setting up long tables for convivial al fresco dining and shared moments. Ground floor rooms open directly onto the garden, where large furnished terraces allow you to soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding countryside. The property is accessed via a dirt road that leads directly into the estate, and the parking area, located behind the house in a secluded section of the property, includes a partly covered garage for 1 car and uncovered spaces for up to 6 vehicles. The garage also serves as a storeroom equipped with a chest freezer and a laundry area. A dedicated storeroom beneath the swimming pool houses the pool's technical equipment as well as farm tools and machinery.
The non-heated swimming pool is a focal point of the outdoor experience, positioned 30 metres from both the farmhouse and the annex on a terrace paved with terracotta and partially enclosed by fragrant hedges of laurel, oleander, rosemary, helichrysum, and lavender. Rectangular in shape and measuring 16 x 8 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.50 to 2.50 metres, the pool is lined in PVC and features chlorine purification and internal lighting. A solar shower is available poolside for your convenience. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, with access times from 8 am to 7 pm. A few metres from the house, a beautiful heated hot tub designed for 5 people is available and open all year round, offering a luxurious complement to the outdoor relaxation experience. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.
Unit Layout
Podere Santa Croce accommodates a maximum of 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, distributed between 2 independent buildings situated 60 metres apart. The main farmhouse is arranged over 2 floors connected by an internal staircase. On the ground floor, the main entrance opens into an entrance hall that leads to a sitting room with a television and a French window at the rear of the house. Also on this floor is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower and a French window on the pool side, as well as a kitchen and a dining room with access to the external dining area. The internal staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find 2 double bedrooms each with a private bathroom equipped with a bathtub, and a further double bedroom with a private bathroom with shower, which also benefits from access to an external terrace. The annex, the second independent building, is composed of a sitting room, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower. All 5 bedrooms are individually styled and each features its own private bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy for every guest.

The perfect place to take your children on holiday! Agriturismo Le Calle is located in the heart of the Maremma about 9 km from Cinigiano and Paganico, and is the ideal place for those seeking relaxation in the hills, and for those who want their children to have an unforgettable experience in contact with nature and the farm animals, such as sheep, the friendly donkeys from Amiata, the Cinta Senese pigs and the Maremma cows.
The farm consists of about 80 hectares and produces excellent Montecucco D.O.C. wines, extra virgin olive oil, Cinta Senese cold cuts, honey, cereals and legumes, with which the owners Riccardo and Savina will be happy to tempt you.
You can take a dip in the sea with wonderful trips, even daily, to the seaside resorts on the golden Tyrrhenian coast. Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto and Marina di Alberese are about 50 km away and can be reached in just over 30 minutes by car.
The Agriturismo Le Calle is composed of 4 holiday apartments, 3 of which are in the farm centre, (Carola, Olinto and Bandiera) and the CASETTA LE CALLE which is 2 km away, reachable by an unpaved road, not advisable for sports cars. Casetta Le Calle is particularly recommended for those who wish to maintain their privacy, where a breathtaking 360° panorama awaits you around the house. Green and gentle hills, which in every season and in every moment of the day will give you unforgettable images and colours.
Adjacent to the farmhouse, where the owner's house is also located, you will find the swimming pool (size 6x12 m - depth 1,20 - 1,70 m - open from 01st May to 15 October), the laundry room, a bathroom with shower, and the park with children's playground.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
During the months of July and August during your stay the owner will organise a trip in an AGRIBUS, a tractor-drawn trailer for transporting people, a modern version of an ox-drawn cart, and will take you around the farm to admire the beautiful landscape of the Maremma. A family experience you won't forget.
After the trip, all participants will be offered a tasting dinner with the farm's products (included in the price for bookings of at least one week), evenings in company and joy shared with other guests and the owner's family that will remain in your fondest memories.

Its name, like the bird from which it comes (the Phoenix), summarises the symbol of rebirth; and this comparison is more than appropriate considering the origins of Casa la Fenice which, from a simple country farmhouse, has been transformed, reborn, into a splendid Tuscan residence, after having undergone an important renovation which the owner was particularly keen to do, and which bears witness to the sentimental bond with these walls. We are in a lesser-known, but extraordinarily beautiful, corner of Tuscany, where the contrast, between the verdant hills and nature reserves of Berignone and Monterufoli-Caselli and the wonderful lunar landscapes endorsed by the Valle di Diavolo, stands out: with all its enchantment it offers surprising glimpses of nature manifesting itself with all its strength, giving almost an air of veiled mystery with the geothermal vents in the background. Interior:
Casa La Fenice has two floors connected by an internal staircase. A few steps lead to the main entrance on the ground floor. From here a staircase leads up to the first floor and a short ramp leads into the living area consisting of a spacious, well-equipped kitchen connected to the dining room; the rooms have direct access, through French windows, to the garden and are served by a bathroom with shower. Completing the ground floor are three double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, each with outside access and not communicating internally with each other. On the first floor is a double bedroom with a small balcony, a bathroom with a chromotherapy shower, a TV room with a double sofa bed and access to the terrace and, finally, the laundry room.
Park:
The park surrounding the house extends over a flat area of about 20,000 sq m and is completely fenced. The garden around the house has lawn areas delimited by dry stone walls and enlivened by bushes of aromatic herbs, fruit trees and a sea of olive trees. In this welcoming setting are a hydromassage tub (that can be available with extra cost and heated up to 27degreest) with adjacent guest bathroom, a lovely pool of water lilies, a wooden gazebo with table and relaxing sunbeds near the beautiful swimming pool, a barbecue area with wood oven and barbecue and a large portico with dining table in a convenient position at the exit of the kitchen. Past the entrance gate of the property is the parking area, close to the house entrances.
Swimming Pool:
The newly-built swimming pool lies in the garden in front of the living area exits just a few metres away and can be reached down a ramp with a few steps. The rectangular pool, measuring 5 x 10 m with a constant depth of 1.30 m, is lined in sand-coloured PVC and has chlorine purification, internal lights and Roman steps for access to the water. Surrounding the pool is the sunbathing area paved in stoneware with sunbeds, umbrellas and a cold-water shower. The pool is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
