Lo Spadino

A while ago our booking team set off for a visit to the Podere Lo Spadino, a new Tuscan country house close to San Gimignano and one of the favorites of our guests!

A visit to this house is a visit to the Montagnani Family. Because we must tell you that this house was born from an idea, a difficult but a strongly desired wish that the owner Maris had since he was young: his idea to build a house entirely with his own strength and own hands.

According to several researches Maris made and in analyzing some manuscripts left by his ancestors, the Montagnani Family has lived some centuries on the territory where the province of Florence borders the province of Siena, close to San Gimignano. The characteristic symbols of this area are part of the family's coat of arms which can be found in the medieval Town Hall in Certaldo.

The Easy Reserve Booking Team strikes again, this time in the Chianti area near San Polo......... It has been some time we have been planning a visit to Villa Fabbroni and today is the day.

The owners, Stefano and Sergio, are the perfect hosts: they welcome us in their wonderful little restaurant which is situated in the oldest part of the villa. This area used to be a typical Tuscan wine cellar with arched brick ceiling and stone walls (it accommodates some 50 people and the guests of Villa Fabbroni can have delicious meals here) and they start bringing out the cakes!

So what does the Easy Reserve Booking Team do on a sunny afternoon in October ?? Go visit the villas they offer of course !!

It's very useful to actually visit the accommodation that we offer because it is so much easier to reply to all the requests - but during these visits we do not just view the properties but we also get to meet the owners and learn about the rich history of these amazing villas in Tuscany.

Welcome back to our Villa Spotlight, where we find a great vacation rental in Tuscany out of the thousands we have in our catalog and give it the extra attention it deserves. Today we are looking at Florence, an epicenter of the Renaissance, former seat of power for the Medici family and the capital of the Kingdom of Italy for a time as well. If you are traveling to Italy for its museums, unbelievable architecture and a feel of its day to day city life, Florence is your destination.
"The property was impeccable and was located exactly as described in the listing. Everything of interest in Florence was within walking distance. The owner was gracious and punctual and a pleasure to deal with."
-Patrick from Quebec

The apartment we are looking at today is Vicolo Del Canneto, a second floor apartment located in a historic building in the city center. This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is perfect for a couple traveling to Tuscany but it can accommodate up to four people with a sofa bed. The large living/dining room is a great social space if you are traveling with kids or friends. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner range, oven, and freezer.
