Begin your day of touring with a visit to a fascinating tomb that was uncovered in Civitella Paganico in 2007. The remains of thirty people was found in the tomb and much can be learned about Etruscan burial customs from this interesting site.
Walk around the walled town itself which envelops the many 14th century brick houses with their beautifully designed porticoes.
The town spa called ‘Bagni di Petriolo’ dates back to 1230 and is a certain treat for tired wandering feet!
