Beautiful villa! There were 6 in our party and everyone agreed that the villa could not have been better. The kids loved swimming every afternoon while the adults relaxed poolside. The views were spectacular and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It was a fantastic place to return to after a day exploring the area.
This was a 3 week family vacation for my wife and me, 4 children and spouses. The location, quality of the villa, and the warmth and hospitality of the Rosadi family made it especially enjoyable. I agree wholeheartedly with the other comments posted, and will emphasize the personal attention we received from Mr. Rosadi. His availability and knowledge of the area and its history added depth to our experience, and gave us confidence that we would be well taken care of in whatever circumstances should arise. His tour of the valley was very instructive, and brought us to places we would not otherwise have found.
The views from the villa and surrounding areas are magnificent and pastoral at the same time. The eye doesn't know where to look first.
This is truly a place to come to be renewed, to refresh relationships between family and friends, and enjoy the art, history hospitality and beauty that is Italy.
Do get acquainted with the proprietors of the local restaurants and the good people at the local grocery.
If you come, stay a while. The 3 weeks we had allowed our getting into the rhythm of Tuscany, and served to renew our spirits.

The villa and grounds were beautiful. We had great weather the entire time. It was a pleasure to have this beautiful place for three weeks. The owners were so helpful and kind and the meals they prepared were glorious. The sunsets helped to put a magical glow to our home in Tuscany. Everything was perfect!
Portole 2 is een uitstekend vakantiehuis. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Keurig schoon en netjes. De eigenaar/contactpersoon was zeer behulpzaam en aardig. Portole 2 is zeer rustig gelegen ongeveer 7 kilometer bergopwaarts van Cortona. Wie van rust houdt, in het bezit is van een auto en goed ter been is kan hier prima vakantie houden.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Portole 2 is an excellent holiday home. Fully equipped. Neat clean and tidy. The owner / contact person was very helpful and nice. Portole 2 is very quietly located approximately 7 kilometers uphill from Cortona. Who likes peace and quietness and is in possession of a car and has good legs can have a good holiday here.
La Limonaia provides complete privacy within the Borgo Di bastia Creti infrastructure. just perfect for a relaxing holiday with ample potential for trips to the Umbria and Toscan serounding cities and villages.
The Equipment in the kitchen could be much better. We missed severall things. For example there were only 3 cups although the apartment can be used by 4 people. The TV-set should be replaced due it is to small.
Otherwise it was an superb stay in Toskany!!!

Fabulous location close to San Gimignano with great amenities and service. Barbara and Mimosa are wonderful people.
