Beautiful house located in one of the most charming areas of Tuscany between Chianti and Val d'Elsa, halfway between Florence and Siena, and 15 minutes from San Gimignano, whose unique skyline with many towers can be admired from the terrace!
At guests' disposal:
The Casa Costarella is divided in two separate units of 120 square meters (one used by the owner) each with it's own entrance and private terrace with panoramic view. The property is encircled by a large, and very well maintained garden where guests find external furniture, large umbrellas and also a play ground for children.
Wi-Fi internet connection available free of charge.
Cot and high chair available at surcharge.
In the Casa Costarella you'll find a book with informations to help guests in any way, suggesting fine and exclusive artistic, cultural and gastronomic itineraries.
Not far from the Casa Costarella there are excellent restaurants and trattorias where you may enjoy dishes that have made Tuscan cooking famous throughout the world, or even attend a cooking class. Just a few minutes away by car are supermarkets, shops and sports activities (golf, horse riding, bike hire etc)

Casa Costarella is situated in a strategic position a little over 30 km from Florence and Siena, both of which can be reached within half an hour. About 11 km away is the fascinating town of Certaldo, a medieval fortress and the native city of Boccaccio — one of the fathers of Italian literature and the author of the Decameron. San Gimignano, the well-preserved medieval city of towers is just 15 km away, while Volterra, a historic Etruscan city, can be reached driving along 43 km of the most beautiful roads in Tuscany, part of the Volterrana: the legendary road for people who love to drive through the countryside, by car or by bike! Then, if you want to taste or buy some excellent wine, you don’t have to go very far to visit the wine cellars where the most famous red wine in the world is made, Chianti Classico. We will be pleased to inform you aboute the best tipical trattoria's to taste tuscan kitchen!

First floor: living room with windows overlooking the garden, valley and surrounding hills, with TV, single sofà bed and toilet with just WC and washbasin.
Large private terrace overlooking the garden, valley and surrounding hills, offers a breathtaking view and warm atmosphere.

Location and the facilities are great. Things would have been easier if the had supplied a few of the basic toiletries

Mooi vakantiehuis, van alle gemakken voorzien, en met een mooie omheinde tuin. Veel privacy en een fantastisch uitzicht. Hele gastvrije eigenaren. Goede uitvalsbasis voor alle mooie steden in Toscane, zoals Siena, Florence en San Gimignano.

This is a lovely villa that is nestled in the Tuscan hills and close to many beautiful and charming towns. The villa had everything we needed. It was a little hot in the evenings, however.

The villa is ideally located with easy access to many destinations in Tuscany. It was well-appointed and fairly priced.

Overall the villa was nice! Small problem with pellet furnace and hot water tank which the owner was more then happy to address. These would not have been an issue in the summer months but due to the cold and damp weather it took a long time for the villa to warm up. No clothes dryer in villa.

Buitengewoon sfeervol, voorzien van veel gemakken - ook in details als fohn, wasmachine, wasmiddel, veel kasten, enz. Enige wat aan 'uitstekend' afdeed, is dat er geen horren en luiken voor de ramen zijn en de gordijnen redelijk transparant. Als dat raamwerk nog beter zou uitvallen, is het huisje uitstekend!

If the windows would be better, the house would be excellent!
