At the back of the property, a forest of cypresses and oaks forms a natural boundary with the surrounding village, providing a sense of seclusion and tranquillity. In front of the villa, a welcoming outdoor area is furnished with a table, chairs, and a built-in barbecue, making it an ideal setting for al fresco dining and relaxed gatherings. A laundry room is conveniently located within the garden area. The non-heated swimming pool, positioned just a few metres from the tower, is rectangular in shape and measures 10 x 4 metres with a constant depth of 1.00 metre. It features a heavenly resin finish, chlorine purification, internal LED lighting, access via a Roman staircase, a hydromassage corner, and two small terracotta cherubs with water features at one end. The paved solarium surrounding the pool is furnished with sun loungers, offering a perfect spot to relax and take in the panoramic views. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please note that the photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colours and blooms of the gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas may differ from what you find upon arrival.

The first floor, accessible via a spiral staircase from the living room, features a balcony with a Turkish bath, a double bedroom with curtain closure, and a living room accessible through a kitchenette that cannot be used. At guests’ disposal: large and very charming terraced park furnished with garden furniture and table tennis, beautiful Italian gardens (dating back to the 18th century) with lemon trees and swimming-pool (12 x 6 m - open from 01/04 to 31/10). Reception open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. The outbuildings of the castle as well were restored and turned into charming apartments. The castle is run by the Posarelli family. A sunny deck wraps around the swimming pool and connects seamlessly to a veranda furnished with sofas and a table football, offering a shaded retreat during warm summer days. A shower bathroom is also accessible from this area. The solarium, elegantly appointed with sunbeds, extends via marble stairs up to the top floor terrace, where the whirlpool tub, measuring 6 square metres with a depth of 1.40 metres, is surrounded by sofas and coffee tables. It is important to note that the whirlpool tub is not heated. Long panoramic balconies and terraces encircle the upper floors of the villa, offering breathtaking views over the plain, the town of Massarosa, Lake Massaciuccoli, the Apuan Alps, and the Versilia coastline. Please be aware that photographs of the garden were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the grass may differ from what you will find upon your arrival. The swimming pool, facing south and appearing almost suspended above the open landscape before it, is rectangular with 2 rounded sides and measures 9 x 6 metres at its widest point and 9 x 3 metres at its narrowest, with a variable depth ranging from 1.70 metres to 2.40 metres. Painted internally in blue with a stone edge and a metal access ladder, the pool is equipped with internal lighting and a salt purification system, and remains open throughout the entire year. Please note that the swimming pool is not heated.
