The Villa rental is positioned in the countryside around Lucca, on a beautiful hillside dominating ancient vineyards and olive groves, in an area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth.
The villa is set in 6 acres and sleeps up to 12/14 people. It has been recently renovated in order to bring together modern comforts with the original architectural features and antique furnishings. It is fully furnished and surrounded by a private, Italian garden. Villa Pedone also offers a private swimming-pool, directly accessible from the house.
By renting this villa one can enjoy the beauties of all the treasures offered by the Tuscan Region. Lucca is in an ideal location, its geographical position and features offer both mountains and beach resorts in accessible distances.
By choosing this type of accommodation you will be able to enjoy, discover and become part of the 'real Tuscan lifestyle'.
Villa Pedone is situated on a quiet and secluded hillside, surrounded by breathtaking views of olive groves and vineyards. Although you will feel far away from the city, Lucca is only 10 minutes away by car. It is an ideal location, as you will see on the map, the city of Lucca is positioned centrally in the Tuscan region. It is aprox. only 15 km from the sea side and 10km from the mountains. It is surrounded by all the main cities of Tuscany, which are easily reachable also by train or bus.
The property is in San Concordio di Moriano, a small village in the countryside, 7km from Lucca city center.
The villa is surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards. It is also an historic area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth. Although it might seem like an isolated area, the village center is only 2km away, where it is possible to find a minimarket and a supermarket at 3km.
Distances:Nearest village for shopping is 3 km (grocery shop - post office - pharmacy). Very good trattorie and restaurants close by.

The garden surrounding the property is delimited by a 2m high wall, which surrounds three sides of the villa. The fourth side is delimited by a low fence to enable the view of the lower hills, of vineyards and olive groves, the swimming pool, with deck chairs, and the outdoor dining area are on this side, therefore you are able to have a beautiful view of the countryside while dining and swimming.
The Italian style garden is partly in grass and partly in pebble stones. The villa's façade is dominated by a palm tree.

The Experience
Casa Rosa is situated on the same estate as Villa Clara, a villa we have been succesfully renting for years, and used to be one of the farmers’ houses. The garden and swimming pool have been positioned on the opposite side of Villa Clara to assure total privacy. One of the rooms has facilities for disabled guests.
A yoga room is available; there is an additional fee for its use, payable locally.
There is a tennis club within walking distance of the house.
The helpful caretakers live on the estate, in a separate apartment.

The outdoor spaces of Villa Jasmine are among its most remarkable features, offering a seamless blend of natural beauty and refined comfort. The garden, extending over approximately 1,500 square metres on a hilly terrain, is mostly laid to lawn and enlivened by fruit and olive trees, colourful flowers, and traditional Tuscan herbs. Numerous panoramic areas are distributed throughout the garden, each offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding Versilian landscape. The outdoor dining area, furnished with a table, is positioned under a portico adjacent to the swimming pool and a traditional brick barbecue, creating an ideal setting for al fresco meals. The non-heated swimming pool is located on the same level as the ground floor of the villa, approximately 2 metres away, and offers a spectacular panoramic view of Viareggio and its blue sea. Rectangular in shape and measuring 3.5 x 7 metres with a constant depth of 1.15 metres, the pool is lined in sky-blue soft PVC and equipped with chlorine purification and large steps for easy water access. A terracotta-paved solarium area surrounds the pool and is furnished with sunbeds shaded by 2 umbrellas. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. A short distance of the house lies the picturesque village of Corsanico with its many scenic corners. In the church of San Michele Arcangelo is a Monumental Organ built in 1600 by the Venetian Vincenzo Colonna, and able to reproduce any kind of sound, on which the maestro Giacomo Puccini who loved this area, played. This cosy and elegant house is surrounded by the typical vegetation of these areas, centuries-old olive trees and orchards that thrive in the year-round mild climate. The villa has been renovated in the Tuscan style and furnished with simple furniture. It is close to the international airports of Florence and Pisa and just a few minutes away are the famous seaside resorts of Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi, and the art cities of Lucca and Pisa.

Villa ai Venti has two floors. The main entrance is through the portico that leads into an open-plan space with dining room and living room with fireplace and direct access to the garden. A flight of sandstone stairs leads up to the first floor, consisting of three double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with tub.

Next to the house and near the parking area, there is a volleyball court and a ping-pong table. Under the portico, where the barbecue is ,there is the dining table and wicker lounge suite. The 3 bedrooms with direct garden access each benefit from a dedicated relaxation area furnished with umbrellas, tables and deck chairs. The park also features an orchard with seasonal fruit including apples, cherries, apricots and plums, as well as a dedicated area with aromatic herbs available for guests to use. A mini volleyball court offers a fun recreational option, and the surrounding wooded area provides numerous paths for walking and hiking. The non-heated swimming pool is located behind the property on a lower terrace adjacent to the villa, accessible via a short downhill path. Rectangular in shape and measuring 4 x 8 metres with a constant depth of 1.50 metres, the pool is lined in grey granito and bordered by teak wood flooring, equipped with chlorine purification, 3 internal spotlights and submerged steps for water access. The surrounding sunbathing area features sunbeds, a cold-water shower and a comfortable sofa area with an awning. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. A small annex housing the laundry room is also located within the park, reached via a few stone steps.
