Walking distance to San Giustino Valdarno. Villa il Sorbo is placed just 1 km away from the village of San Giustino Valdarno, a small hamlet located on the slopes of the Pratomagno mountains between Arezzo and Florence. With a pleasant walk you will reach the center of the village where there are shops , restaurants and all kinds of services.

Hill and panoramic position. The villa is situated on a hilly and quite panoramic position with view over wooden hills and lush green area. The hiking lovers will find a wide choice of paths and small country roads to walk through. Some of them are also marked and maintained by the CAI (Club Alpino Italiano). The small and ancient architectural jewel of the Middle Ages, Il Borro, is situated only 3 km away. This hamlet has been already mentioned in a 1039 document and by visiting it, you will feel like being thrown into a fairy tale thanks to its quaint narrow streets and small shops.

Villa endowed with every comfort, pool and garden amongst olives. Villa Il Sorbo is a newly built holiday villa, functional, welcoming and equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, dishwasher, satellite TV , internet access ). A few meters from the villa we find the swimming pool (5x10m depth 1.50 m) and a relax area with gazebo, sunbeds and deck chairs. All around a large outdoor and completely fenced area of approximately 10.000 m2 with olive trees, hammock, small volleyball court and swing. Next to the kitchen there is a nice porch with table and chairs, ideal for eating 'al fresco'. The villa is endowed with solar panels which make it independent from traditional energy resources making the most of its ecological value.

“What a beautiful property and house. We were welcomed by Lucia and the owner of the property upon arrival. This property exceeded our expectations. It was well maintained and the owner stopped by every morning to make sure the flowers were watered and the pool was cleaned. We had use of the beautiful pizza oven and had a chef prepared meal that was fantastic. The property was located close to a train station that brought us to Florence in 37 minutes. All the bedrooms were air conditioned, which we only had to use one night. Best vacation ever- will be back soon.”

Visit Loro Ciuffenna

Loro Ciuffenna is located in the Arno Valley in Tuscany, Italy. When you visit Loro Ciuffenna you'll feel like you stepped back in time with it's narrow streets and alleys which date back to the Etruscan era. In the center of town there is an old Roman bridge that spans the raging currents below. An old mill, which recently closed, was powered by a water wheel for over 100 years and is still visible from the bridge today. Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances avec notre famille composée de 6 adultes à la villa IL SORBO. Les chambres sont spacieuses , les lits confortables , la cuisine bien achalandée. Le wifi a parfois quelques faiblesses mais il ne faut pas oublier que la villa est situé à flanc de montagne d'ou la belle vue . Les abords sont très soignés et fleuries .Il y a un grand barbecue et une grande terrasse pour tous les repas .La piscine entourée de gazon n'est pas vraiment faite pour les tous petits (profondeur 1.50 m partout) , il y a suffisamment de transats et quelques bestioles dont il faut s’accommoder (abeilles et quelques mouches et taons selon les jours) mais rien de dramatique et nous avons franchement bien profité de la piscine. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la Toscane ; Florence,Sienne, Arezzo, Cortone, la route du chianti,le val d'Orcia ...
Nous remercions David et Lucca pour leur gentillesse, leur miel, leur huile d'olive , leurs figues et pour leur présence efficace si nécessaire.
Bref nous avons été enchantés par ce séjour au cœur de la Toscane ; nous en garderons un très bon souvenir
