Property Description

Le Gallozzole is a 50 ha residence-farm formed by three ancient buildings, divided in a beautiful villa and in 13 comfortable and fully equipped apartments with a total of 27 bedrooms, situated in the historical territory of Chianti, on a sunny position, among green rolling hills, vineyards and olive trees, few miles away from Siena, deeply integrated in the typical Tuscan landscape.
On the farmhouse's premises there is also a villa with its own pool (not currently advertised on our site).
Recently renovated with local materials like stones, wood and marble, it has preserved the original aspect of the old farm, with the typical Tuscan courtyard surrounded by a U-shaped stone building.
The remodeled farm cellar still produces its own Chianti Classico “Gallo Nero” red wine, which you can find in our direct sale, together with our tasteful ExtraVirgin Olive Oil, the sweet wine Vinsanto and the strong Grappa of Chianti.
The receptionists are happy to assist the guests for touristic information, and any requests or suggestions.
Distances:
The central location of Le Gallozzole (6 km from the Florence-Siena speedway) allows our guests to join in a short driving time most parts of our beautiful Toscana like Siena (10 km), Castellina in Chianti (10 km), San Gimignano (35 km), Volterra (50 km), Firenze (60 km), Arezzo (50 km),Pisa ( 107) , Lucca ( 103) Montalcino and Montepulciano (40 km)and many more. In Quercegrossa (3 km) you can find the post office, a pharmacy, shops, a small supermarket, a bank, bars and restaurants.
For those who don’t like driving, the train station of Badesse is situated only 3 miles away.There is also a service of local buses to/from Siena, the bus stop is 300 mt far from Le Gallozzole.

Stayed in Orchidea apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely, well maintained grounds. Convenient location for driving to other places in
Tuscany. Guido was very friendly and helpful. Free
washer and dryer were a nice feature although we never figured out how to reduce the cycle times from
over 2 hours!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Le Gollazzole and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to base their Tuscany vacation. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful and the property is pristine. Guido is an excellent host -- friendly, helpful and smart about ways to help guests get the most out of their vacation (Thank you, Guido). The units and the grounds are impeccably maintained and, of course, excellent wine is available on site. The location is convenient to many of Tuscany's sights but is best for those with access to a vehicle since it is several miles outside Siena although bus & taxi service is available. The website information and descriptions accurately reflect the offerings at Le Gollozzole. We would not hesitate to stay there again on a return trip to Tuscany.

Dès le départ nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux de Guido , qui parle très bien français. De plus ce qu'ils nous a plu , ce fût la propreté des lieux et de la villa. Vraiment un endroit magique et paisible. Très bien situé à 15 minutes de Sienne. Ils ont su très bien combler nos attentes.

Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig in der Hügellandschaft des Chianti und bildet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Rasch ist man auch mit dem Auto auf der Schnellstraße, die Siena mit Florenz verbindet. Wenige Kilometer sind es nach Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung bietet alles, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt nötig ist. Eine privat abgeschirmte Terrasse gibt es nicht, suchten wir aber auch nicht. Direkt vor Ort gibt es Wein und Öl zu kaufen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr hilfsbereit und spricht u.a. deutsch.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Guido für den freundlichen Empfang und seine Hilfsbereitschaft.

Wohnung top, Anlage und Pool super gepflegt.
Guido ist total nett und hilfsbereit.
Von Gallozzole kann man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in angemessener Entfernung erreichen.

Property and surrounding area is beautiful Guido is on hand to help with anything and was excellent. The only thing I would say is that there is no air conditioning and the nights were very uncomfortable as windows had to be closed because of mosquitos, although there is a heater with summer and winter settings summer wasn't air con.
