New Review Submitted for Villa Fabbroni: La Loggia located in San Polo In Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

Review Details:
We definitely enjoyed our stay at Villa Fabbroni. We rented the Loggia and we had so much space for the 5 of us. All the rooms were very large including the bathrooms. We loved the antique furniture as well . Every evening we enjoyed a beautiful fire with the antique fireplace.
Sergio and Stefano were great hosts not forgetting about their great doggie Oscar.Sergio is a great cook preparing a beautiful meal on the Sat. evening with little notice.
The two negatives are the property is quite remote at the end of a bumpy hilly road and get specific directions to the Villa . It is a little hard to find initially. However with the GPS there shouldn't be any problem . The location is really only about 30 minutes from Florence so we drove into Florence three times in the week.A beautiful setting indeed.R. We absolutely loved this villa! In particular, the owner was wonderful, kind, helpful and had great ideas for traveling in Toscana. The beds and bedding were terrific, the grounds were lovely, the annex was quaint! We had such a fun time gathering there, cooking, eating, talking, making art, eating, tasting wine, drinking beer, eating (did I say eating?). It was a wonderful choice that I'd recommend to anyone.

Review Details:
You must have a car and you must buy everything because they do not provide you with even the most basic amenities such as toilet paper, dish soap or charcoal. This place is very isolated and while the view is spectacular, the owners seem to have let it go. The dishwasher did not work, the espresso coffee maker was unusable and everything looks like it was castoffs from some other places. It really is too bad because this could be a great villa. The town of Radda is charming and there are some very nice restaurants there. {Easy Reserve Reply: The owners provide one toilet paper roll per bath, one bottle of water/wine, a couple of dishwasher tablets etc for the first needs - these are self-catering villas. Also, clients should always advise us about issues immediately, during the stay, so the keyholder can promptly fix the problems.]

What a wonderful experience! The Bencini family made us feel so welcome and the place is beautiful and homey and the view is lovely. The location is convenient to Siena. We had a dinner prepared for our group the first night and it was everything we hoped it would be. Grazie, grazie!

We loved the property and the village. The villa was modern and quite comfortable. The village was quaint and picturesque. The villagers were a little curious about us, but as friendly as they could be considering we spoke no Italian. Mrs. Dalida, the manager, was wonderful and helped us very much.
