The Maremma Park is located further down the coastline, between the provinces of Livorno and Grosetto. Surrounded by forests and marshlands, this also goes by the name of Uccellina Park and the surroundings are truly a feast for the senses! Smell the sweet perfume of wild flowers and the sweet musty scent of large oak and beech trees as you enjoy exploring some great walking trails here.
The ridge of the Uccellina hills runs through the park where visitors can challenge themselves to some climbing to reach the peaks to look at the breathtaking scenery of the Tuscan coast and the rolling hills further inland. The highest peak of this ridge stands at 417metres and is called Poggio Lecci.

This was once a major coal mining and wood cutting industry but is now just home to lots of wildlife, mainly wild boar and deer that can roam free in natural surroundings.
