Excellent villa in the perfect location for exploring the beautiful hill towns and villages of Tuscany. Beautiful location, incredible view and superbly well maintained gardens. Slightly dated decor, but perfectly functional (not really relevant unless bad weather forces you inside). Would definitely recommend for a large group!

Villa Olimpia has been lovingly restored to provide quiet and comfort during your stay here. The house is appointed in tasteful and comfortable furniture that compliment the warm colored stone walls and soaring Tuscan arches throughout.

The perfect villa for family and friends. Space and privacy for everyone with a large communal dining room and lounge. The billiard room was a bonus. The pool area close to the house was perfect for keeping an eye on young children. The grounds were beautifully maintained and secure. The owners were very kind and if we go back to Tuscany it will certainly be to stay at Villa Olimpia!

The Villa Olimpia is a large villa with lots of living and social spaces. A total of 9 bedrooms can be found in the villa: six with double beds, two with two twin beds, and one with a single bed. There are also ten bathrooms in the villa, as well as several fire places in the common areas and one in a bedroom downstairs. As for the common areas, there is a sitting/breakfast room, a large dining room, a huge living room with fireplace and satellite television, and a billiard room that also has a fireplace. There is also a laundry room available that is separate from the house. For those traveling with children, two baby beds are available as well as a high chair at no extra cost.
Villa Olimpia has a lot to offer lovers of the great outdoors. The villa itself is surrounded by an olive grove and a well-kept garden makes a great place to sit and get a breath of fresh air. Not to mention the large pool that sits in front of the villa at roughly 750 square feet. There are three large tables to use for outdoor dining as well.

Villa Olimpia was great for a vacation in Tuscany with friends. There was 12 of us from the US and we loved every minute of it! The dining room was a gathering place for everyone even when we were not eating which was hardly never! The rooms are good sized and we never felt like we were on top of each other! However there are plently of space for the group to get together and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire! Every morning we would trickle out to the pool area and plan the day! Even though it is quite a drive you must check out Lucca - the city is magical! If you have the opportunity to have Lorenzo cook you a meal we highly recommend it! He was great and his food is amazing!

As for location and day trips from the villa, it is situated perfectly for a good overview of the Tuscan city centers. The villa is roughly 30 kilometers from both Arezzo and Siena, 60 km to Florence, and for any shops you may need during your vacation the small town of Bucine is only 15 km away.
