Nice quiet area, with nice views. Good location to visit the Chianti region. House is big enough and garden is great. This house is perfect to live outside and enjoy the garden(s) and BBQ. Is not to be recommended with bad weather: it's very humid en gets cold fast and the m3 price for heating is out of all proportion and could dramatically impact your budget. The level of confort is also too low to enjoy your time inside the house: no confortable seating area. We had bad weather and a baby and got a huge bill for heating to keep the house on 19degrees. We would now choose for a house where heating is included in the price, since you never know what the weather will be.
Positive: you will get all the peace you need, thanks to the discretion and kindness of the owners.

This property was very nice and the location was excellent with no problems in locating it. We were particularly pleased and impressed with our contact Elisabetta. Because we arrived on a national holiday and many services were unavailable, Elisabetta showed up with pizza for all from her own dinner. This was totally unexpected and very thoughtful. Bravo. We would certainly stay here again.

The villa was truly breathtaking, everything i expected and more!! the owner was lovely and very helpful. there were great places to see car ride away and i would recommend you make time to visit nearby villages and towns. The local supermarket owner was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend the chef (Barbara) she made the most delicious food. Overall i loved the whole experience and easy reserve were very professional to deal with.

The house in Poggio Nardini was a nice and clean house. Very near Florence (can be reached within half an hour by car). Poggio Nardini is a small Agriturismo with 7 appartments who all look nice and authentic. The beds were very well, but the kitchen and bathroom a bit older.
The only thing is that the three older sisters who run the place are very 'present'. For example, our children can swim very well (Dutch 'C diploma'), but weren't allowed to swim on their own in the pool, although we explained it to the sisters. We also found that the owners were a bit pushy with the weekly dinner on thursday. It didn't feel as if it was your own choice.
But over all we had a nice holiday in beautiful Tuscany.

My Family and I just returned from Siena and were fortunate enough to stay at the Villa Caprera. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful apartment and the hospitality of the Bencini family. The Villa is a very nice marriage of the old and new. The place is fully renovated and accommodated 5 very comfortably. Everything has been lovingly renovated by the family's architect daughter. We stayed in the tower room which was beautiful albeit a little noisy at first light due to the birds but some ear plugs solved that problem. The owner's are on premises and are such kind people. Danielle baked us a cake and brought us fresh eggs and her husband Mario even offered to drive us into town the first night since we didn't have our rental car until the next day. It was just a wonderful, welcoming experience and we are very thankful for the memories. Extras: views of Siena, there is a small market right down the street, a small garden area with a grill, and Ilda the very friendly Nonna who will speak to you in Italian no matter if you understand or not. Negatives: nothing really, some low hallway ceilings so watch your head when heading to the bathroom. John N.- Washington, DC

The villa was beautiful. We loved the location and the house itself. I think that potential renters should know that the road leading to the villa is not for the faint of heart, however. We had a difficult time accessing the villa when we arrived because our car wouldn't go up the mountain. It was nerve-wracking. We did get used to the road and, indeed, grew to appreciate it, but we never let our guard down. Our week at Modonnina was wonderful.

We found a very quiet place what is not so easy when the rail and the highway also pass near the seaside.The apartment was very appropriate(clean) and arranged all the equipments.

I was a little concerned booking a villa for 12 people site unseen, but once we arrived, I knew it was destiny. All were delighted with the accommodations. The residence was immaculate and the rooms were very comfortable. The pride taken in the property was apparent by the frequent owner and caretaker visits, but never intrusive. The hospitality and warmth of the residence was only surpassed by that of Rosado and family. The location was perfect for trips to Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia and Cortona, all of which we did along with wine tasting in the area. The local supermarket was a favorite destination, and could we ever forget the delicious meal prepared by Chef Barbara, certainly a night to remember. We cannot wait to return in the future!! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rio Corso. We had some difficulty finding the property, but once we figured out how we went wrong it was easy. The property was everything we expected and the owner and his son were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Villa was well designed, clean, modern and attractive. Would highly recommend this property.
