Eccellente 5 /5Fubbiano is perfect in its simplicity. It's not an eight star, luxury, gold tiles place, but it has the real 10 star Tuscan charm and warmth. A week in the Villa offers possibilities for both leisuring by the pool and excursions to Lucca, Firenze or Pisa. Or just a stroll to San Gennaro to eat lunch in the family run restaurant in the piazza. Or you could, as we did, hire local cook Roberta to work her magic with both antipasti, primi, secondi and dolce. And, of course, you have to ask Chiara for some of the Fubbiano wine (we love the Schiller Rosé!) and their incredible Olive Oil. Fubbiano is perfect for those not in need of luxury, but in need of a quiet, peaceful and just perfect getaway in the heart of Tuscany.
