Set among lush vegetation of olives trees, cypress and vineyards, Pietrabuona is a typical Borgo Mrdioevale, dating back to the 13th C. with quaint cobble-stone lanes, an old church, stone houses of a very distinctive tuscan style, ancient walls, stonearchway, Part of the 10 Castella(10 Castles) villages of this hilly region known as the Svizzera Pesciatina, due to the amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Pietrabuona is located at the entrance of the valley, only 4 Kms from Pescia town centre, a perfect base to explore the area near you.
Find out and learn more about the history, art and local life of others famous and beautiful Tuscan towns: Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Chianti, Collodi (Pinocchio), Carrara, 5 Terre, all within easy traveling distances, The use of a mid-size car is recommended to get access to the various highlights this region has to offer. GROUND FLOOR A large kitchen/sitting room with a well equipped gas.grill stove, microwaves, stainless steel sink, refrigerator/freezer. A stone fireplace, a couch sofa ,TV DVD player radio, plus a large table decorate the sitting area. Also a small closet with toilet and washing machine is to be found on this level.All floors are finished in terracotta tiles, wood beans on the ceiling, typical of the old Tuscan countryside homes. Private entrance.

FIRST FLOOR On this floor there is a room with 2 single beds (Guests Room), it has hand painted furniture and plenty storage room. The stone walls, original, are the main feature and decoration of this comfortable room. Located on this level is the main bathroom which has a Shower/Bathtub, decorated with majolica tiles. On the same floor is a studio-room with 2 single beds.

SECOND FLOOR This large, spacious room on the top floor of the house, Mansarda, (loft) is very bright with 3 windows and wonderful views. It has a king size bed and it is decorated in typical style with tiles floor and all solid wooden furniture. A small sun terrace is accessible from this room, a perfect place to relax and unwind..
