This independent villa is a traditional country house, with its own private garden and pool, offering 5 bedrooms and 7 baths. It is part of a rural complex originally begun in medieval times and successively added onto over the centuries and it lies in a panoramic position surrounded by vineyards and olives in the heart of Chianti, near Greve, in a triangle between Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
The Chianti area itself is all at your feet! You can explore the medieval towns and castles, enjoy the food and of course the wine! If you are keen walker there are many beautiful walks in the immediate area.
The Villa is a typical 19th Century country residence recently restored with luxuriously comfortable décor and all modern facilities including Wi-Fi.
It has its own private garden with a barbecue and a swimming pool.
Distances:
The nearest villages are Lucolena and Dudda at 1 km. You will find the nearest food shop and restaurant at 1 km as well. Shops and public transport to Florence can be found in Figline Valdarno around 8 km away. Tennis: 8 km Greve in Chianti, Golf: 12 km Golf Club Ugolino, Horseback riding: 8 km Greve in Chianti. Airports: Florence at 61 km, Pisa at 124 km, and Rome at 291 km.
At guests' disposal:
Guests will have a private pool, open from May - October. There is also a private barbecue. You will have access to a pizza oven but it is shared with nearby houses. Inside the house you will find DVD, Hi-Fi, Baby cot (on request), Internet Wi-Fi, and hair dryers.
Extra Services:
The owners can arrange for domestic help, linen changes and guided trips/excursions (for instance to Rome, Siena, Venice and the Cinque Terre) with special permits enabling our drivers to go directly into the historical city centres. It is also possible to have cooking class, cook service for dinners, wine tastings, and visit a small museum of antique farming equipment.

Surface: 400 sqm

The villa is disposed in 3 levels. The entrance is on the street level (on the first floor).
The rooms in the villa are large and luminous. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with toilet and shower.

Ground floor
Downstairs from the entrance level is the big kitchen and dining room area with a fireplace (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, sat-tv, hi-fi). Please note: For hygienic reasons no foodstuffs are provided therefore it is suggested to bring basics, like salt, sugar etc.
There is also an extra room for laundry (washing machine, iron and ironing board) with 1 toilet and 2 showers (very useful when you are at the pool).

First floor (on the street level)
At the entrance you find a sitting room/studio and a wide living room equipped with satellite TV, dvd player, hi-fi, telephone and safe
3 double bedrooms each with its own private bathroom with shower
1 twin-bedded room with bathroom with shower

Second floor
Upstairs in the loft there are:
1 sitting room for playing cards with 2 single sofa-beds (Euro 200 per bed per week to be paid on the spot) with its own bathroom with shower
1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower

Private outdoor area
From the ground level you go directly into the garden equipped with outdoor eating facilities and barbecue and you have also access to the pool.
