The contest will close on April 1, 2013 at 12:00AM for new submissions. Voting will close on May 1, 2013 at 12:00AM (GMT). The winners of the contest will be announced on May 15, 2013. The winners will then be notified and they will be able to choose the week they prefer to travel. The selected week of travel can be any non-booked week between August 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014. For the grand prize at Villa Portoverde all weeks are eligible for travel except for the months of July and August. For the random drawing prize at Casa Di Vignolo travel is possible for all open weeks. If you book a villa before the contest ends and win the contest, you will receive a refund for your booking.
1. Employees or agents of Easy Reserve Ltd, their families or other persons connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
2. There are no entry fees to enter the photo contest.
3. No more than five photographs can be entered per contestant. Only one photo per entrant will be eligible for the grand prize.
4. The same image must NOT be entered more than once - This includes altered and unaltered images.
5. All entries must include a valid email address.
6. Entries must be uploaded online https://secure.easyreserve.com/contest/
7. The Judge's decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Easy Reserve Ltd is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize. Entry is for people of 18 years of age and over.
9. By entering the promotion and submitting your photograph, you hereby grant Easy Reserve Ltd, a license to use your photograph for the purpose of delivering the service and promoting the competition online in printed and electronic formats. Easy Reserve Ltd may also use the photograph for the promotion of any photographic competition with Easy Reserve Ltd in both print and online.
10. The competition is open to amateur photographers worldwide. An amateur is a photographer who makes less than 25% of their annual income from the practice of photography.
11. All imagery MUST be the total and exclusive work of the submitting photographer and may not include any element that is the copyright of another.
12. Entering the contest or voting shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms & conditions.
13. The entrant will indemnify Easy Reserve Ltd for all liabilities, including legal costs, in relation to any action or complaint taken by any third party against the Promoter in relation to the entrant’s photograph.
14. Easy Reserve Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
16. Photographers may make reasonable use of digital darkroom type techniques which enhance quality but do not distort the photograph. Only minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible for a prize.
17. A random drawing will determine the winner of the voting prize. Participants can vote once per photo with no limit on the number of photos they vote for but only one entry per person will be entered into the drawing. If automatic computer generated votes or votes gathered by 'Facebook like schemes' or other similar schemes are detected these photos will be disqualified.
18. All winners will be notified via email. If the prize is not accepted within 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and randomly awarded to another contestant. The winner is solely liable for any taxes that may be due to the tax authorities in your country. Easy Reserve Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prizes with prizes of equal or better value. Winners will be bound to the same term and conditions that all villa renters adhere to when booking a villa. The winner will need to acknowledge the booking conditions before the prize is awarded.
19. Winners are responsible for their travel arrangements, meals and any other expenses related to the trip. The prize is only for the accommodation, no incidentals are included. If extra services are arranged with the villa owner, the cost of the extra services are the sole responsibility of the winner.
20. By entering the contest, either by submitting a photo or voting, you are agreeing to receive promotional emails sent by Easy Reserve Ltd on an Opt-In basis. No private information will be shared with third parties for any reason. You may opt-out of future emails at any time.
21. Images Easy Reserve Ltd deems unsuitable to publish will not be entered into the contest. Images containing nudity, excessive violence and cruelty will be automatically disqualified from the contest.
22. RELEASES
If the photograph contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, and/or if any persons appear in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation. If any person appearing in any photograph is under the age of majority in their state/province/territory of residence the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on each release.
Upon Easy Reserve Ltd's request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Easy Reserve Ltd's request) a signed release from all persons who appear in the photograph submitted, and/or from the owner of any material that appears in the photograph entry, authorizing Easy Reserve Ltd to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. All releases must be in the form provided by Easy Reserve Ltd. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification at any time during the Contest and selection of an alternate winner.
Similarly, upon Easy Reserve Ltd's request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Easy Reserve Ltd's request) a signed written license from the copyright owner of any sculpture, artwork, or other copyrighted material that appears in the photograph entry, authorizing Easy Reserve Ltd to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. All releases must be in the form provided by Easy Reserve Ltd. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Finally, upon Easy Reserve Ltd's request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Easy Reserve Ltd's request) a signed written license from the owner of any private property included in the photograph entry, authorizing Easy Reserve Ltd to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. All releases must be in the form provided by Easy Reserve Ltd. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
For the purposes of these Official Rules, the entrant will be deemed to be in receipt of Easy Reserve Ltd's request or notification, (a) in the event that Easy Reserve Ltd sends the request by postal mail, five business days after the request was sent by Easy Reserve Ltd, or (b) in the event that Easy Reserve Ltd sends the request by email, on the day that the email was sent by Easy Reserve Ltd.
23. Copyright Policy - Easy Reserve Ltd claims no copyright on the photographs submitted into the contest. See rule 9 for usage rights granted to Easy Reserve Ltd.
